Cancellation protection
for Your Bike Tour
Covered for all eventualities – in case of unforeseen events. This liability cover includes the cancellation costs on behalf of the customer up to the travel price without a deduction in the event of a customer no-show or cancellation of services offered by Donau Touristik (e.g. due to force majeure or insufficient participants, as defined in the General Terms and Conditions).
Registration for cancellation protection cover is possible per room and up to 30 days before departure, after which it can only be taken out together with the main booking.
Cancellation cover for distance tours
In the event of cancellation by the customer of a distance tour, the following reimbursement costs to Donau Touristik will apply:
€ 35,- per person: with reasons*
€ 55,- per person: without giving reasons (= also applies as travel interruption liability)
Cancellation protection Centre-based tours
In the event of cancellation by the customer of a centre-based tour, the following reimbursement costs to Donau Touristik will apply with reasons given*:
€ 75,- per person up to a tour price of € 1.500,-
€ 85,- per person for a tour price of € 1.501,- to € 1.999,-
€ 105,- per person from a travel price of € 2.000,- (= also applies as travel cancellation liability)
* Reasons: due to illness with presentation of a medical certificate, in the event of death of relatives in the direct line and second degree; benefit up to a maximum of the booked travel price.
