Your floating 1st class hotel accompanies you along the most beautiful sections of the Danube Cycle Path - from the Schlögener Schlinge via Vienna and the Danube Bend to Budapest. During the day, you cycle past baroque towns, the vineyards of the Wachau and Hungary as well as magnificent monasteries. In the evening, you can relax on board the MS Primadonna.

Rail travel to and from Passau from any DB railway station in 2nd class with reserved seating is included, according to your preferred schedule.

Up to and including June 12, 2026, direct travel is possible from Würzburg (due to the line closure between Nuremberg and Regensburg with diversion via Ingolstadt – no problem). From June 13, 2026 onward, a transfer in Regensburg main station will be required (by bus or similar), with travel time extended by approx. 45 minutes.

For guests arriving with their own car: free private parking in Passau plus transfer to the ship is included.

Route
Friday, Individual Arrival

To Passau by train or car. Boarding from 2:30 p.m. at the landing stage in Passau Lindau. Transfer from the Donau Touristik private car park or Passau main station to the ship at approximately 4:30 p.m. Embarkation until approximately 5:30 p.m. Welcome dinner from around 6 p.m. Depending on the water level, it may be possible to take the ship to Passau's old town for an individual tour of the three-river city (alternatively by taxi; cost approximately €10 per person per trip)

Saturday, Schlögener Schlinge – Linz (56 km)

In the early morning to Schlögen. After breakfast, pick up your rental bikes (if booked). Cycle through the uninhabited narrow valley near Kaiserau to the baroque market town of Aschach and on via Ottensheim to Linz.

Sunday, Tulln – Vienna (31 km)

Individual tour of the State Garden Show in Tulln. Followed by a bike tour with views of the foothills of the Vienna Woods to the waltz metropolis of Vienna. Lunch on board. Individual city tour by bike through Vienna (+ 18 km on car-free cycle paths) or optional: guided bike tour (3 hours). Dinner on board. Optional: Guided city tour by bus (2 hours). Individual visit to a ‘Heuriger’ near the boat landing stage.

Monday, Komárno-Estzgergom/Štúrovo (56 km)

Cycle tour along the Danube Cycle Path from Komárno (fortress, Europe Square) passing the Roman fort Kelemantia to Štúrovo. Optional individual visit to the basilica in Esztergom. In the evening, take a boat trip to the magnificently illuminated Danube metropolis of Budapest.

Tuesday, cycle tour to Margaret Island (22 km)

Optional: morning city tour by bus to the most beautiful sights of Budapest (3 hours). Tips for cycling on car-free paths through the city centre to Margaret Island. Optional: guided cycle tour (approximately 3 hours). Active version: bike tour to the artists' village of Szentendre (55 km there and back).

Wednesday, Bratislava and Meulensteen Culture Island (40 km)

Arrival at around 10 a.m. Optional: Guided walk of Bratislava (1 hour). Lunch on board. Bike tour to Danubia Meulensteen Culture Island (individual visit to museums and gallery). Return to the ship with individual stops for refreshments.

Thursday, Wachau (53 km)

Cycling tour from Krems (UNESCO World Heritage Site) through the Wachau region. Via Dürnstein and Spitz, past Melk with views of the imposing monastery, to Marbach.

Friday, Disembarkation/Passau

Arrival at 9 a.m. in Passau. At approximately 9:30 a.m., bus transfer to the Donau Touristik private car park/main railway station. Disembarkation by 10 a.m. in Passau.


Program changes on the journey are, in the interest of your safety, at the discretion of the 1st captain due to factors such as high water, low water, or other cases of FORCE MAJEURE, at any time (even at short notice). Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.

Gastronomy

The benchmark of all cruise ships! With us, individuality is the big plus. From the vegetable juicer at the American buffet to the "cheese from the board" at the end of the 4-course menu, we cater to your wishes. Dietary requirements are sometimes possible, please specify when booking. The choice of dishes is characterised by the specialities of all ten Danube countries, especially Viennese cuisine really comes into its own here. In addition, we offer the lowest bottle wine prices of ALL Danube ships, for example 1 bottle (0.7 l) Bordeaux Château Lamothe-Vincent Jg. 2011 for only € 17.90. Five meals daily with breakfast buffet, served 3-course menus at lunch and 4-course menus in the evening; afternoon coffee with pastries; midnight snack.
