Monday, Kitzingen / Dettelbach (47 km):Car-free and flat ride to Marktbreit (Seinsheim Castle), on to Kitzingen (old town with the Falter Tower), then to Dettelbach and back.
Active version: Continue along the Main Cycle Path to Schweinfurt and return by train and bike (+27 km, 60 minutes by train, hourly service, one transfer).
From Ochsenfurt (old town with half-timbered houses) to Randersacker and through beautiful vineyards to Sulzfeld. Return to the hotel.
Wednesday, Würzburg (44 km):Along the Main Cycle Path to the historic episcopal city. Individual sightseeing (old town, cathedral, Residence, Old Main Bridge, Marienberg Fortress, etc.) and return.
Thursday, Randersacker (39 km):Gently uphill past Biebelried to Randersacker and back.
Friday, Sommerhausen and Karlstadt (51 km cycling, 50 minutes by train):Flat and car-free to nearby Sommerhausen (Torturm Theatre) and on to Karlstadt (Karlsburg Castle, Maintor Tower, old town). Return by train (hourly service; one transfer).
Saturday, Gaubahn Cycle Path (47 km):Along the former railway line closed in 1992 via Tückelhausen to Gaukönigshofen (Church of the Guardian Angel) and Baldersheim, followed by a walk to the ruins of Reichelsburg (10 minutes with a beautiful panoramic view), and back.
