Free, unguarded parking at the Kurhaus (approximately 10 minutes' walk) or underground parking at the hotel for an additional charge (approximately € 17,- per day, payable on site).
Monday, Freiburg in Breisgau (40 km)From Bad Krozingen, the well-signposted route leads through idyllic wine villages to Freiburg. Return via the same route.
Tuesday, Breisach/Ihringen (25 km by bike, 64 minutes by train)Via Schlatt and Grezhausen through the Rhine floodplains to Breisach. Continue through orchards and vineyards to Ihringen. Return by train (every half hour, 1 change).
Active version: Return trip by bike along the Rhine to the hotel (+ 25 km).
To the pilgrimage chapel in Thierhurst (excellent restaurant); continue to Neuf-Brisach (Vauban fortress); return by train (half-hourly service, 1 change) from Breisach.
Active version: Return by bike along the Rhine embankment (+ 29 km).
Via Neuf-Brisach to Colmar (museums and “Little Venice”). Return trip to Breisach by bike, back to Bad Krozingen by train.
