Two hundred rare plant species from all over the world can be found here. Thanks to the special microclimate of Central European and Mediterranean currents, the Arboretum is also a research station.
Arco is not only a popular destination for sport climbers but also the starting point for many cycling and mountain bike tours.

In 2001, Arco was the end destination of the Giro d'Italia.
