Route
Day 1, Arrival in Dresden

Parking in the hotel's underground garage is available at an additional cost (approx. €17 per night, payable on site) or in the nearby side streets. Your rental bike (if booked) will be waiting for you at the hotel. Welcome menu in the evening. 

Day 2, Moritzburg (35 km by bike, 28 minutes by train)

Along the Elbe to Radebeul; by “Lößnitzdackel” to Moritzburg. We recommend visiting the magnificent castle and park. Return via Friedewald and past the Japanese Palace.

Day 3, Saxon Switzerland (50 km by bike, 3,5 hours by boat, or 50 minutes by train)

Along the Elbe Cycle Route, past the Bastei rock formation and Königstein Fortress to Bad Schandau; in the afternoon, return to Dresden by Elbe steamboat or train (payable on site, approx. €35 per person).

Day 4, Meissen (48 km)

Past the Scharfenberg and Gauernitz castles along the Elbe to Meissen (cathedral, Albrechtsburg castle, porcelain factory, etc.). Return on the opposite bank. 

Day 5, Pillnitz (32 km)

Past the “Blue Wonder” Löschwitz Bridge to nearby Pillnitz; visit the castle Pillnitz and return. 

Day 6, Dresden

Experience the many sights of Elbflorenz, such as the Zwinger, the Blue Wonder, the Frauenkirche, and much more on an individual hop-on hop-off city tour.
