Day 2, Hannibal's grave (37 km)Extraordinary view over the heath. To the unique Totengrund, one of the deepest depressions in the region, with Hannibal's grave. Return via the Egestorf barefoot park (sensory gardens, paths on natural ground).
Day 3, HamburgIndividual excursion to the Hanseatic city by train (payable on site) or by car. The Port of Hamburg and its fish market, St. Pauli with the Reeperbahn, ‘Michel’ or the numerous museums make the city world-famous.
Day 4, Heath Centre (23 km)Through the Töpsheide and Weseler Heide to the Heath Centre near Undeloh. Return with a stop at a country inn (for example: Landgasthof zur Eiche – widely known, typical restaurant).
Day 5, Behringer Heath (43 km)Via Niederhaverbeck to Behringen to the Crazy House. Slightly hilly to Wilsede (historic sheepfold, heath museum, heath centre); return.
Day 6, Seevequelle/Nordheide (42 km)Through the heath to Schätzendorf and the small forest settlement in Ehrhorn. Past the source ponds of the Seeve (coldest river in northern Germany) via Schierhorn and back.
Day 7, Undeloh wooden church and Hexenhaus (39 km)To the Hexentanzplatz and through the vast heathland to Holmer Mühle (milling day every second Saturday of the month). Past the Wesel Witch House and on to the famous wooden church in Undeloh. Continue to the Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park (falconry, shepherd's village, pelican pond, aviary and much more). Return to the hotel.
