  • Can be easily combined with a visit to the festival (June 12th to September 12th) at the Arena di Verona. Book tickets on the stone steps - Gradinata, unnumbered (proper Italian style).

Route
Day 1, arrival in Schlanders:

Parking at the hotel (approximately € 20,- to € 70,- per stay on site); free parking on the outskirts of town, approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Your rental bike (if booked) will be waiting for you at the hotel.

Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel

Day 2, Merano (38 km): 

Through well-tended orchards, past Dornsberg Castle to Merano.

Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 3, Bolzano (33 km):

Past Nals to Sigmundskron Castle. The cycle path leads to the center with its famous arcades.

Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ or 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 4, Tramin (25 km): 

Through lovely wine-growing communities to the day's destination.

Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 5, Trento (45 km): 

Via San Michele all'Adige on bike paths to the center of the old council city.

Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ or 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 6, Arco/Riva (51 km): 

Along the Adige Cycle Path to Rovereto (old town, monuments) and Mori. Slightly uphill via San Giovanni.

Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ or 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 7, Verona (39 km by bike, 10 minutes by bus, 37 minutes by train): 

By private bus to Passo San Giovanni and by bike to Peri. By train (hourly) to Verona.

Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 8, Return journey: 

Booking of additional nights or bus return journey from Verona to Schlanders every Friday and Saturday (arrival at approximately 1:30 pm.) is possible. Return transfer of your own bikes for an additional € 38,-. Remaining days on your own (discount of € 55,- per person).
